Lost photographs searching for an owner

SOMEONE has lost a little piece of history and Nic McMahon wants to get it back to them.

After enjoying coffee with friends at Rose City Shoppingworld last Thursday, Mrs McMahon and a friend headed into the underground carpark and it was here the women stumbled upon the photos, lying on the ground.

Mrs McMahon said her friend was going to be out of town for the next few days, so she offered to take the photos and hopefully, find the owners.

"I took a photo of the pictures and posted it online, and then shared it to a few Facebook pages, including the Warwick Daily News page," she said.

"A few people have shared it, but as of yet no one has come forward and no extra information has been given.

"Both would be of some sentimental family value.

"The older photo looks like it was taken in the 20s or 30s and the later one looks like the 60s going by the fashion."

The colour photo has the following names written on the back; Thelma, Garnet Gibson, Uncle Ossie, Auntie Lue Lue and Uncle Burt.

If you recognise these items, please call the Daily News on 4660 1325.
