Love is in the air at florists
BOUQUETS, chocolates and giant teddy bears are out and ready for the most romantic day of the year - Valentine's Day.
Warwick florists are gearing up for a busy period as the big day draws near.
Bryson's Place owner Lynn Bryson said while many opt for roses, some men are starting to choose more exotic bouquets.
"Roses are still the most popular, (but) a lot of guys are looking at oriental love bouquets," she said.
Mrs Bryson said she and her staff have a lot of fun and laughs during Valentine's Day, often dressing up for the occasion.
Just Because Gifts and Flowers owner Sue Pulley said her store was also experiencing demand for gifts and her favourite part of Valentine's Day was seeing the looks on the gift recipients' faces and the romantic gestures displayed by many.
