Lucky Southern Downs lady wins $50,000 on Today Show
WHAT would you do with $50,000?
For local Anne Keenan the question is more than just an entertaining thought, after she won the prizemoney on the Today Show yesterday morning.
"I just can't believe it. I've been doing it for years but didn't think I'd win it," Ms Keenan said.
"You hear people on the phone, they can hardly believe they've won, and now I know how they feel."
A loyal viewer, Ms Keenan said she had watched the show since the early 90s and just after 8am yesterday one phone call answered with "I wake up with Today" finally earned her the big win.
After retiring from 25 years of administration work with Blue Care, Ms Keenan said she would like to spend the cash on a holiday.
"There's so much to see in Australia, I'd like to get out on a trip to WA."
