Make your business shine

NOMINATIONS are flowing in for the Heritage Business Excellence Awards, but there is still time to get your nomination in.

As well as filling out the entry form in your Warwick Daily News and picking up an entry form from various businesses, you can also find the form online.

Warwick Chamber of Commerce now has the nomination form on its website www.warwickcommerce.com.au

Vice-president Jason Gard has been busy working with Trevor Springate from Countrybiz.com.au to update the Chamber of Commerce website.

“We have now updated all the relevant contact information for this year’s committee,” Mr Gard said.

“The public are also now able to go online to our website www.warwickcommerce.com.au and submit their nominations.

“This is just another convenient way for people to nominate a business they think should be recognised for their hard work.”

After nominations close the Chamber will then make the next feature of the website live with nominated businesses able to fill out the application form.

“Once a business has been nominated, they are asked to fill out an application that the out-of-town judges refer to for judging,” he said. “Once the nomination process has closed, we will make the application live on the website. Business will then be able to submit their application online for judging.”

Mr Gard is urging everyone to get involved in this year’s Heritage Business Excellence Awards and support local business this year.

“To be recognised in the business community for the hard work and innovation you have put into your business is very rewarding,” he said.

“The public as consumers are the best judges of good service, filling out the nomination form is very important.”

The Chamber of Commerce is also encouraging anyone interested in becoming a member and attending their monthly meeting to also look online for membership forms.

“We need as many voices as possible involved in the Chamber,” he said.
