UPDATE:

QUEENSLAND Police have released CCTV footage from the armed robbery that occurred on Saturday night at a bottle shop on Bulcock Street, Caloundra.

Police officers are still yet to find the man responsible.

Queensland Police have released images in the search for a man who robbed a bottle shop while armed with a golf club. 

Police said officers had made several patrols but the man had not yet been found.

EARLIER: Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred on Saturday night in Caloundra.

Initial investigations suggest that at 8pm, a man entered a bottle shop on Bulcock Street armed with a golf club.

He approached the female attendant and made demands for cash, and when the woman complied, he fled the store with a sum of cash and a quantity of cigarettes.

Responding police have conducted numerous patrols, but the man remains outstanding.

No one was physically injured during the robbery.

The man is described as being Caucasian in appearance, around 180cms tall and had a slim build and dark brown hair with a fringe.

Investigations are continuing.
