Man arrested in Warwick shopping centre car park
A YOUNG Redcliffe man on the run has been caught and arrested in front of stunned shoppers at Rose City Shoppingworld.
The 17-year-old boy allegedly stole a vehicle from Redcliffe and drove to Warwick passing through Maryvale and Allora.
Police were notified by Yangan residents who reported a young male hooning through the streets.
Police eventually located the car at Rose City Shoppingworld yesterday afternoon and found the man inside the centre.
He was chased by officers on foot and finally arrested.
It's understood the man also stole fuel from a number of petrol stations.
The man was charged with unlawful use of a motor vehicle, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, stealing, obstructing police, public nuisance and unlicensed driving.
He face Warwick Magistrates Court on November 15
