Man caught at 175km on Highway
OVER 200 speeding tickets were issued to drivers around the Mackay region over the Easter weekend.
One man was caught doing 175km on the Bruce Highway today.
"Proserpine police booked him in a 100kmh zone," officer in charge of the Mackay Traffic Branch, Senior Sergeant Richard Turner, said.
"Speeding seems to be a prominent offence in our district.
"We have issued 256 speeding tickets across the district in three and a half days."
