Man charged for dangerous driving on Cunningham Highway

TRUCK drivers alerted police to a driver on the Cunningham Highway who was allegedly driving dangerously last night.

Police attended the scene at Wheatvale about 8.30pm.

Warwick Senior Constable Gavin McLucas said the 34-year-old was also driving under the influence of alcohol, returning a blood alcohol concentration of 0.202.

The Bororen man was arrested and taken to Warwick watch house where he was later charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and drink driving.

He received bail and is scheduled to appear at Warwick Magistrates Court on January 24.
