Explosives, weapons found in car at Goondiwindi

GOONDIWINDI police have charged a man with unlawful possession of a firearm and explosives after a gun and ammunition were found in his car.  

Police pulled over and searched the man's car on Boundary Rd on Christmas Day.  

The 37-year-old man from Central Queensland will face Goondiwindi Magistrates Court on January 20.
