Man injured after crashing into tree on Southern Downs

A 20-YEAR-OLD man was injured in a single-vehicle crash at Stanthorpe this morning.

A spokesman from Queensland Ambulance Services said a car crashed into a tree on Amiens Rd about 5.50am.

The man was believed to be the only one in the car at the time of the crash.

He was transported to Stanthorpe Hospital but the extent of his injuries was unknown.
