Man knocked out in quad bike accident

A 60-year-old man was treated on the scene after an accident on a quad bike on a farm at Junabee, east of Warwick, at 6.53pm Saturday.

The Queensland Ambulance Service was on scene and treated the man who had an abrasion to the back near his hip and had been knocked out for a period of time.

"He was treated on the scene and ambulance officers recommended transport (to hospital) but he declined,” a spokeswoman for the Queensland Ambulance Service said.

"He was fully conscious, alert and breathing when the ambulance was on the scene.”
