A MAN armed with a large knife has demanded cash from a Rode Road business.
Police say he entered the business in Wavell Heights before 6am and when staff complied with his demands, he fled.
He was last seen leaving on a motorcycle.
Police were then alerted to a traffic incident involving the same motorcycle on Miller Street, Chermside where he reportedly lost control of the bike and crashed before getting back on and fleeing again.
The man is described as Caucasian in appearance, wearing long pants, a maroon and blue short sleeved jumper with a long sleeved white shirt underneath, black helmet with a red horizontal stripe on the back.
The motorcycle was described as blue and white in colour with a blue milk crate strapped to the back.
