Man on the way to court over assault charge

A 48-year-old Warwick man has been charged with threatening voilence after an argument with another man about a dog at 7pm Saturday.

The man charged allegedly threatened the other man with a machete in the town of Warwick.

He has been issued with a notice to appear in Warwick Magistrates Court on one charge.

The 48-year-old was in the Warwick Watchhouse for a short time before being released on bail.
