
Man shot by cyclist with bow and arrow still in hospital
THE 51-year-old man shot by a cyclist wielding a bow and arrow under Brisbane's Victoria Bridge remained in hospital on Tuesday morning.
The man had surgery in Brisbane's Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital on Monday and is in a stable condition.
"He is still in hospital and we have not yet been able to take a formal statement," a police spokesman said.
The man was sleeping on the Bicentennial Bikeway under the Victoria Bridge about 10.15pm on Sunday when unidentified man on a bicycle shot him in the torso with an arrow.
Police are believed to be following information received from the public.
