A CROWD of 100 people was in Leslie Park on Sunday morning for the dedication and opening of the new memorial wall and dais just to the south of the cenotaph in Warwick.

The ceremony was started and finished with prayer led by Rev Darren Muller, from Warwick Baptist Church.

The work was the culmination of a major fundraising effort by the Warwick Community Development Anzac Memorial Committee led by president Johnno Felton.

All levels of government and many individuals, businesses and community organisations supported the fundraising effort.
