November Uber markets at Leslie Park not to be missed

WITH the temperature increasing so are the expected numbers of stalls for the November Uber markets.

The markets will be held this Saturday at Leslie Park, from 10am to 2.30pm.

Market organiser Christie Russell said that with the wide range of stalls, there was something for everyone.

"We are expecting between 50 and 60 stalls," she said.

Stalls range from hair accessories and toys to books and metal artwork.

"We very rarely have any double-ups on items for sale," Ms Russell said.

There will be a variety of children's activities on offer for a small gold-coin donation, such as face painting, the bungee run and jumping castle.

The minion will also be out and about on the day, she said.

Ms Russell said the markets were designed to be a great family day that wouldn't break the budget.

Raffle tickets will be on sale for a fundraiser for Warwick woman Tanya Coghlan and her son Lachlan who has been battling cancer.

At $2 per ticket, entrants have the chance to win one of three children's party packages worth $150 each.

The package donated by Christie's Crafts includes face painting, balloon animals and a party game for every child, for up to 15 children per package.

The raffle will be drawn at the December Uber markets.
