HORSEPOWER WITH GERARD WALSH
MATT Campbell is back from the Porsche Night of Champions in Germany.
The Warwick motorsport star was flown to Germany for the Porsche night for a second successive year and will be based in Europe next year to drive a Porsche in races from Europe to the Americas.
The people of Warwick are rightly proud of our young driver who is showed the potential many expected and even more.
Races on
THERE is a chance a Warwick trainer could win the $30,000 race on Boxing Day.
Garry Schwenke is likely to nominate Sorority Sister in the race and after a last start win at Coffs Harbour, it would be a game punter who would discount her chances. There is also a $20,000 bonus for Magic Millions horses.
Warwick will be on show around the nation on Boxing Day as it is a TAB meeting and that means TV coverage.
Rodeo action
THERE will be plenty of rodeo action in Warwick on New Year's Eve when the Warwick Show and Rodeo Society holds a rodeo.
Various groups have planned New Year's Eve Rodeos down the years and you can't go wrong at the home of the most famous rodeo in the nation.
Gerard O'Leary is the main organiser and he is sure to have plenty of entertainment and fun organised. Two of the promising riders to watch on the night could be Dion Doro and David Dwan.
