"Super-impressionist" Danny McMaster will be the entertainment for the 2011 Heritage Business Excellence Awards on June 4.

McMaster brings celebs to Warwick

FANCY rubbing shoulders with the likes of Sean Connery, Bill Cosby, Dean Martin, Johnny Cash and Michael Bolton?

Aside from the fact a few of these celebs have now gone on to the big movie cinema in the sky, they will still make an appearance at next month's Warwick Heritage Business Excellence Awards.

“Super-impressionist” Danny McMaster is the entertainment for the Rose City business community's night of nights and committee member Donna Neale-Arnold cannot wait for the evening to unfold.

“Danny is super impressive so we're lucky to have him – we'll also have the room decked out in a Hollywood theme with a red carpet, a photo booth and a themed menu,” Mrs Neale-Arnold said.

McMaster has taken the entertainment scene by storm with his repertoire of more than 300 on-the-money characterisations of some of the world's best-known celebrities.

McMaster's show has been described as “a marvellous journey filled with superb music, packed with laughter and seasoned with a hint of drama”.

The night is shaping up to be the most successful yet, with 77 local businesses putting in nominations.

But so far, only one business has submitted an official application, with time running out for businesses to apply across 11 categories by May 20.

“It’s a simple process – all nominated businesses need to do is go online to www.warwickcommerce.com.au and fill out a form and upload photos to use in our presentation on the night,” Mrs Neale-Arnold said.

“Category sponsor opportunities are still open also, including the new one with a green/environmental focus.”

Tickets are fast running out for the event, so organisers urge businesses who wish to attend to get in quick.

If businesses need help with the application process, phone Donna on 46617007.
