TZIPORAH Malkah has been treated by medics on set of I'm A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here! just moments after entering the South African jungle.

Doctors stepped in for the former model and actor and ex fiancé of billionaire James Packer when two cockroaches were stuck in her ear during her first trial, titled Grotty Lottery.

"One of them is actually in my ear, it is killing me," Malkah, formerly known as Kate Fischer, said. "It is flying around in my ear."

Malkah, 43, and model Kris Smith, 38, were the final two celebrities sent into the jungle on night two of the six week reality show.

They join 10 others - Lisa Curry, Casey Donovan, Natalie Bassingthwaighte, Steve Price, Dane Swan, Nazeem Hussain, Tom Arnold, Ash Arnold, Tegan Martin and Jay Laga'aia - vying for $100,000 for their chosen charities.

But before meeting their campmates, Malkah and Smith took part in Grotty Lottery, a quiz type game where the pair were strapped into moving tanks filled with some 10,000 insects including cockroaches, crickets, ants, termites, worms and other gunk.

"I wasn't making it up. I wasn't being a sook, there was a cockroach in my ear," Malkah said when a medic removed the two offending critters.

To TV vet and show co-host Chris Brown, she sarcastically added: "Aren't you going to check your little patients, make sure your animals are okay?"

He responded quickly with equal wit, "Whatever was going on inside your ear was too much for them."

Despite the medical issue the pair collected nine stars in the challenge, corresponding to nine extra food portions for the 12 campmates in addition to the basic beans and rice they've been eating.
