Men flee IGA after 'attempting to use stolen card'

TWO men allegedly tried to buy about $200 worth of goods from Spano's IGA in Warwick last night with a stolen credit card.

Senior Constable Ian Buckmaster said the men attempted to purchase about $100 worth of goods each before the credit card was declined.

The men then allegedly fled the supermarket in a silver Hyundai i30 with no registration.

Snr-Constable Buckmaster said police were investigating how the men obtained the stolen card before attempting to use it for fraud.
