WHEN the clock strikes noon on a weekday, there is no shortage of tummy grumbles in workplaces around the region.

As a natural response to our bodies' cry for food, out comes the Menu Guide to assist in what some people regard as the most important decision of the day - what's for lunch?

Since the success of last year's guide, and feedback from satisfied consumers around the region, the Daily News decided another menu guide was, well, on the menu.

Coffee Club owner Peter Cook said he was only too happy to get on board and have his wad of culinary delights displayed in the magazine.

"It goes in all of the motels so when people stay they can open it up and get an idea of where they can dine," Mr Cook said.

"It also goes in the paper so it will end up in local homes and because of the quality of the magazine style, it's something people will keep.

"We do breakfast, lunch and dinner and it shows our full range so what better format for it to be in?"

Mr Cook said, due to the likeliness of the menu ending up on fridges across the Downs, it was not only a great way for businesses to get their name out there, but was most convenient for those on the hunt to satisfy their hunger.

"It's the perfect thing for the Coffee Club to be associated with to promote the wide range of menu options we have available," Mr Cook said.

"Although it's designed to promote where to dine in, it also showcases that we do takeaway options as well."
