Flower champion Merle has good garden advice
ACCORDING to June Kemp, if you want a successful garden, just ask Merle Bamberry.
Merle took out the prize for the champion rose at the Autumn Flower Show.
"She just knows how to make things grow," Mrs Kemp said.
"I'm not much of a gardener myself.
"I had a patch of dirt I couldn't get anything to grow in and I asked her what I should do and she told me, and what do you know? It grew."
Merle was impressed with her prize.
