Victorian Michael Hiscock wins Gold Cup Campdraft
MAFFRA, Victoria, rider Michael Hiscock won the Black Toyota Warwick Gold Cup Campdraft with a three-round score of 267 at the Warwick Showgrounds on Sunday afternoon.
Hiscock was riding Hazelwood Advice and scored 88 in the final on top of 179 in the first two rounds. It was his second Gold Cup win.
He took the lead late in the competition from Beaudesert rider Kimberley Sammon who scored 265 on Hicks Special Spin.
Troy Palmer, of Coolah, NSW, riding Charlie, and Ben Tapp, of St George, on Cool Dust were equal third on 264.
