THE cargo to keep Rally Australia rolling has arrived on the Coffs Coast.

Michelin and D-Mack, the two suppliers of the FIA World Rally Championship, have delivered a mountain of specialised tyres to Rally Australia's Service Park at the Coffs Harbour Regional Airport.

Michelin has a strong record of success in the WRC having claimed 38 world championship titles.

Company representative Lodo Paturet said the Ford and Citroen WRC teams would be supplied with a total of 1200 tyres.

Each competing team is assigned a quota of 36 tyres per vehicle for the four days of competition.

D-Mack, the newest tyre brand in the WRC, is used to supply privateer teams and support category competitors.

Teams contesting Rally Australia, the ARC Coffs Coast Forest Rally and the Coffs Coast Classic Rally, will today continue reconnaissance of the stages driving the competition routes between Nambucca Heads and Upper Corindi after attending last night's driver's briefing.

All of the WRC drivers will attend tomorrow's Rally Show in the Coffs Harbour City Centre at 4.30pm meeting with fans and signing autographs.

The Rally Australia Service Park will also open to the public ahead of the Super Special Stage around the harbour at 7.15pm.
