UPDATED, 11.05am: Twenty SES volunteers are helping police with the ground search for a father and his four-year-old daughter who went missing at Pottsville on the weekend.
Elfran St was the focus of this morning's search with police and volunteers expected to revisit areas that have already been searched this afternoon.
Police and family hold serious concerns for Greg Hutchings, 35, and his daughter, 4, Eeva Dorendahl.
The pair were last seen on Pottsville Rd about 12.30pm on Saturday.
They were due to meet with family in Pottsville about noon but did not arrive at the location.
UPDATED, 8.30am Monday: Police have confirmed they have been unable to locate a father and daughter missing from Pottsville since the weekend. The pair went missing on Saturday and have not been seen since.
INITIAL report, 4.12pm Sunday: Police are searching for a missing dad and daughter, last seen at Pottsville on Saturday.
Greg Hutchings, aged 35, and his four-year-old daughter Eeva Dorendahl were last seen on Pottsville Rd about 12.30pm on Saturday.
Family were waiting for the pair to meet with them around midday, but they did not arrive.
Tweed Police were called and they launched an investigation into the incident.
Investigators extensively searched Pottsville and surrounds to no avail.
It is believed the pair do not have access to a car.
Police and family hold serious concerns for their welfare and are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
Mr Hutchings is described as caucasian in appearance, about 175cm tall, with short brown curly hair and of a thin build.
He was last seen wearing a black long-sleeve shirt, grey trousers and carrying a black back pack.
Eeva is described as caucasian in appearance, with long blonde hair, blue eyes and of a thin build.
She was last seen wearing an oversized blue and white-coloured shirt and multicoloured board shorts.
