FOUND: Missing Warwick teenager safe
UPDATE 1pm: A 13-year-old Warwick boy who was reported missing on Tuesday has been found.
Warwick Police officer-in-charge Jamie Deacon said a carer took the boy to Toowoomba Police Station about 12.30pm today.
"No reason was provided for the disappearance but he stated he was picked up from Warwick and spent time at his aunty's place," Snr-Sgt Deacon said.
No further action will be taken by police.
UPDATE 6.30am: Police have confirmed a 13-year-old boy who was last seen in Keith Mitchell Dve is a Warwick resident.
A spokeswoman from Queensland Police said the teen was reported missing on Tuesday but has not made contact since Friday.
Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate the boy as they hold concerns for his welfare due to his young age.
The boy is described as 140cm tall with a slim build, dark brown hair and brown eyes and is of indigenous descent.
He was last seen wearing a black shirt, long black pants and black joggers.
Information suggests the boy may be in the Toowoomba area.
Any members of the public who have seen the boy or who have information in relation to his whereabouts are asked to phone Warwick Police on 4660 4444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
