Missing man may be in Stanthorpe, say police

Police have reason to believe that missing man Jamie Hardgraves could be around the Stanthorpe area.

Mr Hardgraves, who was reported missing from Beaudesert last week, was last seen Thiedke Rd at Beaudesert on Tuesday May 17.

However it was later revealed his vehicle was later found abandoned on Stanthorpe Texas Road early on Wednesday, May 18.

Police believe that his vehicle may have been involved in a crash at Stanthorpe-Texas Road early on May 18.

In a statement released today police said "following a discussion with a member of the public, police now believe Mr Hardgraves may have made his way to the Stanthorpe area."

Mr Hardgraves is described as Caucasian, about 175cm tall, proportionate build, short straight sandy hair with blue eyes.

If anyone has any information that could help find Mr Hardgraves they are urged to contact Crime Stoppers.

Police hold concerns for his welfare as his behaviour is out of character.
