Misspelt sign apple of your ‘i’

THERE are some rotten apples on Ross Lane near Lennox Head.

A signpost on the road reads: "State limit 100 apples, drive to conditions".

Of course, an "i" is missing from the word applies - we are not in Tasmania, the Apple Isle.

Readers of our sister paper the Ballina Shire Advocate have noticed that the sign has been like that for at least the past 12 months.

It's probably about time the "i" was added to the sign - particularly as Ross Lane has been the scene of many road accidents over the years.
