Mixed start to the season for Warwick Wolves

WARWICK went down 3-0 to Wanderers in round one of Toowoomba men's premier football fixtures on Sunday in Toowoomba.

Coach Mick Willmot was disappointed with the first-half performance.

"Three mistakes in the first 25 minutes from set plays led to three Wanderers goals and we lost 3-0," Willmot said.

"In the second half, we dominated possession and field position but couldn't put the ball in the net. Nick Lockley was one of my best players."

Warwick went to Gatton for the women's game and trailed 7-0 before fighting back in the second half to concede only two more goals.

Warwick won 3-0 in the 16/17 years game at Gatton against Gatton.
