More than 2000 lambs, sheep yarded at Warwick sale

WARWICK Selling Agents yarded 1703 lambs and hoggets, and 513 sheep at the Warwick Sheep Sale today.  

Top lambs account SO & JS Free of "Hamilton Farms", Clifton and John Thomas of "Gunnadoo", Pittsworth and Peter Thomas of "Jalinbee", Scrubby Mountain sold for $136.  

Market comments: In a larger yarding of both sheep and lambs, the market was firm on last weeks rates.      

Crossbred lambs 46 - 55 Kg selling from $120 to $136    

Crossbred lambs 41 - 45 Kg selling from $116 to $136    

Crossbred lambs 36 - 40 Kg selling from $98 to $110    

Crossbred lambs 30 - 35 Kg selling from $70 to $76    

Crossbred hoggets 47 Kg selling to $78 shorn   (Skin Value)    

Trade wethers $12 selling to $91 or $3.15/kg est dress wgt    

Light wethers $4 selling to $42 or $2.55 Kg est dress wgt    

Heavy xbred ewes $3 selling to $82 or $3.05 Kg est dress wgt    

Light ewes $2 selling to $40 or $2.10 Kg est dress wgt
