More goals than runs for today's Batting Bunny
DOM Benz is better known as a Warwick Wolves footballer, but one weekend a year, he pads up with the SBH XI in the Australia Day Cricket Carnival.
The team is organised by Cameron Stevens and sponsored by Stevens Bulk Haulage.
The team has its first two games this Saturday at Briggs Oval against Hugh's XI and WBAS and will play at least one game on Sunday.
Benz answers a few questions about his batting.
HOW MANY DUCKS: Two in six years. I never played cricket till I joined SBH XI.
HIGHEST SCORE: Seven runs in an innings.
HOW DOES THAT COMPARE WITH FOOTY GOALSCORING:
I once kicked 10 goals for Allora State School.
WHAT IS YOUR BEST SHOT:
A good swing that connects.
BEST MOMENT: We were runners-up in one carnival.
WHERE DO YOU TRAIN: With the kids in the backyard at home on Friday afternoon and then the Warwick Hotel, toss at 6.15pm Friday, first ball at 6.30pm.
FAVOURITE BUNNY: Jonno Colfs from our team, I think he dobbed me in.
SILLIEST MOMENT: I bowled six wides in one over and in the same over was on a hat-trick.
