Mornings to warm up after frosts
FROSTS are expected today and tomorrow before the mornings become a bit warmer on the Southern Downs and Granite Belt later this week.
Bureau of Meteorology senior forecaster Brett Harrison said, at this stage, it appeared it would be fine to the weekend.
"The frosts will not be as significant on Tuesday," Mr Harrison said.
"There will be a bit of wind on Tuesday morning but low wind for the rest of the week," he said.
Despite strong winds at the Warwick Dragway on Saturday, club president Chris Loy said it had little impact on the drivers.
"It was a tail wind which certainly didn't slow them up," he said.
The fine weather prediction for the weekend is good news for organisers of the Warwick Horse Trials event at Morgan Park which has attracted 180 nominations for the Clark Tanks Spring Event.
