MOST FESTIVE FAMILIES: Carols bring Christmas to Allora

CHRISTMAS enthusiasts from near and far flocked to Allora's Carols in the Country last night.

The festive occassion was long-awaited for residents after other organiser commitments saw the event cancelled in 2018.

One new feature of the event was the Grinch, who kept kids entertained with his antics all night long.

Organiser Gretta Barton said she hoped the night provided a tech-free night of fun for families.

"We invited The Grinch to keep the littler kids engaged," she said.

"It's good for kids to be out and about not entertained with screens."

The carols featured over 13 musical performances, with both local and Toowoomba talent booked for the night.

The sing-along was in collaboration with Allora's Christmas light display.
