Mum thinks about Warwick move

ROBYN Luck liked what she saw when she was one of 50 people who attended the open weekend at Oak Tree Retirement Village in west Warwick.

Mrs Luck visited the village with her daughter and grand-daughter and commented on the space in the villas and the neat and tidy presentation of the village.

"I live at Fernvale and have my house on the market to move to Warwick to be close to family," she said.

"The units are well built and maintained, there is a nice park area and they will let you have pets."

"I looked at a couple of open houses and then Oak Tree."

Oak Tree director Mark Bindon said the open weekend was not about selling villas but getting people interested in the village lifestyle.

"Nine out of 10 come here, not because of their age, but because they don't need a big family home after 40 years which costs a lot of maintenance," he said.

"Oak Tree looks after everything, the physical dwellings and lawns. People come here to remove anything to do with maintenance."
