Motorcycle crash near Warwick courthouse

A MAN was issued a traffic infringement after a motorcycle crash at a Fitzroy St roundabout yesterday afternoon.

According to a police spokeswoman, the 19-year-old male was driving his Nissan Navara along Fitzroy St when he allegedly failed to stop at the Guyz St roundabout, near the Warwick Courthouse, crashing into a 52-year-old male motorcyclist.

Emergency services arrived at the scene at 3.55pm, where the motorcyclist was assessed for knee pain.

He appeared to have no injuries and later refused transport to the hospital, according to an ambulance spokeswoman.

While no one was charged, the 19-year-old did receive a traffic infringement notice for driving without due care of attention.

Both motorists were breathalysed but had nill readings.
