Motorcycle event will be all about the ladies

THE Motorcycle Sportsmen of Queensland mixed and ladies weekend is on at Morgan Park Raceway this weekend.

The sportsmen attract 100 or more riders to most of their meetings but the emphasis this time will be on the ladies. Admission free.

Just as importantly, the most famous race in Australia, the Bathurst 1000, is on Sunday and Warwick will be represented by Matt Campbell who is co-driving with current V8 champion Shane van Gisbergen.

The action starts on Thursday and the Warwick driver and his teammate from New Zealand are third favourites.

Warwick parkrun is on Saturday from 7am at Queens Park and little athletics from 3pm Sunday at Hamilton Oval.

Golf and bowls, Warwick style, never stops.
