Motorcylist airlifted after running off Spring Creek Rd

A SPLIT-second of inattention has caused a motorcyclist to run-off Spring Creek Rd.  

Police say the 48-year-old man was riding alone from Killarney to Boonah when he ran off the road, 500m from Carr's Lookout, at 10.40am today.  

The man drove off an embankment, before coming to rest.  

He was flown to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition with an abdominal injury.
