Motorhome catches on fire on Southern Downs

FIRE crews rushed to a private property at Mosquito Creek last night where a motorhome had caught on fire.

No one was inside the vehicle when the blaze started.

A spokeswoman from Queensland Fire and Emergency Services said crews arrived at the property, about 27km east of Inglewood, about 8.45pm.

Fire crews managed to bring the fire under control and left the scene about 9.57pm last night.

The extent of the damage to the motorhome was unknown.

The owner reportedly said the vehicle had been experiencing electrical problems.

A fire investigation team will conduct enquiries to determine the cause of the blaze.
