Motorists gulp at diesel price

WARWICK motorists may be paying more than their fair share when they fill up at the bowser this Christmas.

Warwick is known as one of the cheaper areas on the Darling Downs to refuel, but residents were surprised to see that diesel had jumped 15cpl on Monday to 136.9cpl at the Shell Service Station in Albion Street.

RACQ data indicates that fair price for diesel in Warwick is 119.9cpl today.

The fair price for unleaded today is 126cpl.

In South East Queensland, the RACQ Fair Fuel Price accounts for the price cycle and provides an indication of what an appropriate price is for each day in the cycle.
