Motorists' lucky escape after car rolls near falls

A MAN and woman have survived their car rolling down an embankment along Spring Creek Rd near Queen Mary Falls on Saturday.

Killarney police said at about 1.15pm, a 29-year-old female driver from Toowoomba lost control of the car on a corner and the vehicle rolled about two metres down an embankment between Queen Mary Falls and Carrs Lookout.

The male passenger was taken to Warwick Hospital in a stable condition with minor shoulder injuries while the driver was uninjured.

Police urge people to always drive to the conditions, particularly on unfamiliar routes.
