Move to form club for quad, drone and multirotor enthusiasts

THE Warwick Aero Modellers have called a public meeting on July 8 to gauge interest in the formation of a quad, drone or multirotor club in the area.

The club opened Barclay Field at Morgan Park last year and has allocated the area to the south of the field and against the Kangaroo Paddock Fence for drone flying.

Warwick Aero Modellers are hoping a large crowd will attend the meeting at 11am at Barclay Field on July 8 with hopes a separate club will be formed of those interested in drone, quad and multirotor flyers.

A sausage sizzle will be held after the meeting and supporters are welcome to stay on for a snag, tea and coffee for a gold coin donation.

The Warwick Aero Modellers meet each Sunday at the field at Morgan Park from 8am and prospective new members welcome.

The entrance to the aero modellers complex is next to the motocross entrance just inside the main gate at Morgan Park.

All welcome to the meeting or can call Merry on 0418 409 788 or email Secretary.wam@gmail.com
