Mum delivers spring surprise
HORSE breeding students at TAFE shared a precious moment this week when they witnessed the birth of a foal.
The colt arrived the day before spring and the lucky group watched the event unfold at the TAFE grounds.
Thoroughbred mum Taiaroa didn’t need an extra hand and the little foal – who is yet to be named – was on his feet within 20 minutes.
