St Mary's taking Hooves 'n' Grooves to new level

EVERYONE is getting ready for the Warwick Credit Union Street Parade, including the kids at St Mary's Catholic Primary School who are taking the theme of Hooves 'n' Grooves to a whole new level.

Move over Jimmy Hendrix, because there will be flock of students with some groovy guitars rocking and rolling in the parade this year.

Year 7 teacher Mary Rutledge said her students had been hard at work cutting and pasting layers of cardboard and paper to make their musical instruments.

"We started making it all this week and they're making as many guitars as humanly possible," Ms Rutledge said.

The parade starts at noon on Saturday, October 27, and registration is just $10.

Forms are available from Warwick Visitor Information Centre.
