Man allegedly threatened to set fire to woman's headscarf

A MAN has been charged for allegedly threatening to light a Muslim woman's headscarf on fire.

Last month, the 26-year-old had left an Islamic centre in Princhester Street and was walking down Boundry Street in Brisbane's West End when she was approached by three men outside a licensed premises.

One of the men allegedly threatened to light her headscarf on fire.
