NAB golf day in Warwick to support dementia group

THE call has gone out for all golfers and those keen to have a go to play in the annual NAB Charity Mercantile Day at the Warwick Golf Club on Sunday.

NAB agribusiness manager Paul Swift said the aim of the day was for business teams to go head-to-head in a social day of golf.

"There is good interest in the day and we are hoping to attract as many players as possible to help raise funds for the Warwick Dementia Support Group," Swift said.

"The event is a four-ball ambrose with four players in each team."

NAB will field three teams, two from the Warwick branch and one from Toowoomba.

All teams are welcome, not just those with an association with a business.

Teams interested in nominating can contact the pro shop, individual players keen to join in the day also welcome to nominate and can be placed in a team.

There are prizes for the best gross, best nett and best dressed.

With prizes for the best nett, it can be advantageous for teams to have players new to the sport to boost their nett chances.

The proceeds of all raffles on the day will raise money for the Warwick Dementia Support Group.

A time sheet will be in operation with bookings with the pro shop on 4661 3664.
