Napoli with chance to set Champions League record

FOOTBALL: Napoli is poised to become the first team in Champions League history to qualify from its group after only three games.

A home win over Turkish outfit Besiktas in tomorrow morning's clash, plus a draw in the other Group B game between Dynamo Kiev and Benfica, would guarantee the Italian heavyweight a spot in the last 16 for the second time.

Napoli is unbeaten in its last 18 European matches and has six points from its first two Champions League outings, its last a 4-2 home win over Benfica.

Maurizio Sarri's side has lost both Serie A games it has played since, however, dropping to fourth in the table and falling seven points behind leader Juventus.

In other games, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger will be hoping his players come away unscathed from their home match with Bulgaria's Ludogorets Razgrad.

Five of the Gunners' first-choice players, including Per Mertesacker (knee) and Olivier Giroud (foot), are currently sidelined.

Arsenal has installed a specially designed surface at its training base in a bid to end its horrible injury run.
