Nathan Hindmarsh and Petero Civoniceva are coming to town

TEST rugby league player and Parramatta legend Nathan Hindmarsh will be on the Southern Downs next week for the NRL Community Carnival.

He is one of the rugby league ambassadors heading to schools and clubs early next week.

While Hindmarsh and retired international prop Petero Civoniceva will concentrate their attention in the Allora, Warwick and Millmerran areas on Monday and Tuesday, premiership-winning Penrith NRL player Joe Galauvo will head to Goondiwindi on Monday, Yelarbon and Texas on Tuesday before attending a come-and-try on Tuesday from 4.30pm at Stanthorpe Gremlins headquarters, Sullivan Oval.

Hindmarsh's first appearance will be an address to the school assembly at The Scots PGC College, a school which enters teams in a primary school gala day each year.

They will visit a number of Warwick schools on Monday before a come-and-try at Eastern Suburbs grounds in Warwick at 4.30pm Monday.

At 6pm, they will go to Father Ranger Oval to teach skills to the women of the Warwick Cowboys who club officials hope can form a team for this year's TRL competition.

Hindmarsh and Civoniceva will head to the Millwood junior club area on Tuesday to visit schools in the Millmerran area and will then hold a come-and-try at 4.30pm at the Millmerran Rugby League Grounds.
