The National Conservatoire Ballet Company is the first youth ballet company in the Darling Downs, Lockyer Valley, Western Downs and surrounding areas. The ballet company is opening its doors and holding auditions for students aged 8 years and over in November 2014. The students will have the opportunity to work with and learn from some of Queensland's most influential dancers from national and international dance companies in both technique and choreography. The National Conservatoire Ballet Company performs two main seasons a year with the opportunity to tour to regional areas when available. The ballet company would like to invite all members of the dance community, teachers and the general public to its official launch of the 2015 season on the 18th October 2014 at 6pm to meet the directors and some of the company members.
