Neil still finds a challenge on the bridge table
EVEN after 40 years of playing bridge, Warwick Bridge Club founding president Neil Bonnell still hasn't completely mastered the popular card game.
Neil, who was among more than 30 players at the Bridge Club yesterday afternoon, said you can never completely master the game.
"There are more card combinations in bridge than combinations of moves in chess," he said.
"It really is a test of skill."
While the game of bridge requires a certain amount of skill, new players are always welcome.
"I'm currently giving lessons to a group of six newer players to ease them into the game," Neil said.
Anybody interested in trying their hand is encouraged to phone the Warwick Bridge Club on 4661 2045.
