EXCLUSIVE: With weather forecasters predicting snow on the Granite Belt tonight, we can reveal never-before-seen footage from last year's historic snow dump.

The video, shot with a dash cam, shows heavy snow covering the landscape on the road to Wallangarra through the Girraween National Park.

Heavy snow fell in Stanthorpe and across the Granite Belt on July 17 last year.

Residents of the Granite Belt and Darling Downs woke to a winter wonderland, with much as eight centimetres of the white blanketing the region.

It was the thickest blanket of snow to have fallen in Queensland since 1984.

Forecasters are predicting that snow could fall on the Granite Belt tonight.
